Archiving/Unarchiving Sections

This article provides step-by-step instructions for archiving and unarchiving sections within the Subject platform.

1. Login to the Subject platform

2. From the left-hand menu bar, click on "Roster"

3. Once on the Roster page, click on the "Sections" tab

4. Locate the section you want to archive from the list and click on the three dots (⋯) menu icon at the far right of the section row

5. From the dropdown menu, select "Archive section"

a. NOTE: in order to archive a section, all enrollments must be either completed or moved out of that section

6. The section status will change to "Archived" in the sections list and the "Date Archived" column will show the date the archive process was completed

a. NOTE: Archived sections will be hidden from the dropdown sections filter in the top-left corder.

Unarchiving Sections

1. Locate the archived section in the sections list (Status: "Archived")

2. Click on the three dots (⋯) menu icon for the archived section

3. Select "Unarchive this section" from the dropdown menu

4. Confirm the action in the dialog box by clicking "Yes, unarchive section"
