Step-by-step Walkthrough
1) Multiple Choice Assignments
Multiple choice assignments are 5-question (or 10-question for world language courses) mini-assessments where you can practice and review the topic material. You will receive 2 attempts on multiple-choice assignments. We will keep the higher score out of the 2 attempts.
2) Annotation Assignments
Annotation assignments are worksheets that you complete either in the Subject platform, or by downloading the worksheet and uploading a file submission.
Submission Option 1: Annotating the worksheet directly.
By clicking Open Assignment, the worksheet will open and you can write directly on it using the annotation tools in the toolbar at the top of the worksheet.
Submission Option 2: File Upload
Alternatively, if you do not wish to annotate the worksheet directly, you can choose to download it by clicking Download Worksheet. Then, after completing the worksheet separately, you can upload your completed work by selecting the File Upload tab in the assignment.
3) Essay Assignments
Essay assignments are writing assignments where you complete a piece of writing about a given prompt.
Submission Option 1: File Upload
You can choose to write your essay on a separate document and then upload the file with your completed essay to Subject.
Submission Option 2: Text Input
Alternatively, you can also write your essay directly in the Subject platform by selecting the Text Input tab.
