Video Overview:
Students can go back to any video, assignment, or quiz in their course at any time. This is especially helpful when reviewing before a test or final exam.
Step 1: Open the course outline
From anywhere in the course, click the square icon in the top-left corner of the screen. This opens the left-hand sidebar with the course outline.
Step 2: Go back to the full course list
The outline opens to the activity the student is currently working on (for example, if they're on the Chapter 7 Assessment, the outline shows Chapter 7 Assessment). To see the whole course, click the back arrow (pointing left) at the top of the sidebar.
This shows the complete list of everything in the course, organized by topic, along with the assessments for each chapter.
Step 3: Open a topic
Click any topic to see all of the videos and assignments inside it.
Step 4: Choose what to review
Click any item in the topic to open it:
Videos: Videos open the same way they did the first time. Students can rewatch the video, see the notes they took, and print their notes along with their responses.
Quizzes and assignments: Students can open past quizzes and assignments to look back at their work. The review options available depend on whether the activity has been completed.
Step 5: Move to the next item
To move to another video or assignment, open the left-hand sidebar again and click the next item in the list.
Tip for educators: If students ask how to study for an upcoming test, point them to the left-hand sidebar. It's the quickest way to rewatch videos and revisit past assignments.
