Overview

Our new Accessibility Widget is designed to make the platform easier to use for all learners and teachers. The widget provides tools to adjust how content is displayed and accessed, supporting users with different needs.


Where to Find It

  • The accessibility widget appears on the right-hand side of your screen. The widget will be available on all screens, not just in your Educator portal. Students will have access in their Learner site and within their assignments.

  • Click on the widget to open the accessibility modal, where you can adjust settings.


Features Available

The widget currently includes the following options:

  • Contrast Adjustments – Switch between standard and high-contrast modes for better visibility.

  • Highlighting Links - Highlight links to more easily navigate the Subject platform.

  • Spacing Options - Control text and line spacing.

  • Pause Animations and Hide Images - Hide or pause certain aspects of the platform to allow full focus.

  • Text Resizing – Increase or decrease text size for easier readability.

  • Dyslexia-Friendly Font – Switch to a font designed to support users with dyslexia.

  • Cursor Size - Control cursor size to improve visibility.

  • Saturation - Change color saturation levels to match your preferences.


Getting Started

  1. Locate the accessibility widget on your screen.

  2. Click to open the modal.

  3. Choose the feature(s) you’d like to enable.

  4. Adjust settings as needed — changes apply immediately.
