1) Open Course Manager
Click the Course Manager tab in the left navigation bar.
2) Select Section
Use the Sections dropdown to choose whether to set pacing for All Sections or a specific section.
Tip: Selecting a specific section lets you pace for all students in that section or an individual student.
3) Choose Course
On the Pacing page, use the Courses dropdown to select the course you want to set target due dates for.
4) Set Pacing at Topic or Assignment level
Topic Level: All assignments in a topic share the same due date.
Assignment Level: Click the + sign to expand assignments within a topic.
Tip: Click Reset to collapse back to topic level.
5) Quick Assign
Click Quick Assign, enter a start and end date, then click Confirm. Due dates will be evenly distributed.
Tips:
Check “Allow target dates on weekends” if you want weekend due dates.
A pace of one topic per week works best for most students.
